Navigating Affordable Housing: Community Workshop
Join us for an informative community workshop hosted by the Bay Area Affordable Housing Service Center (BAAHSC). This 90-minute session is designed to provide essential resources and insights on navigating affordable housing options in the Bay Area, with a focus on serving low-income and senior individuals, especially within the Chinese-speaking community.

Agenda:
Introduction to BAAHSC’s Mission and Services (10-15 minutes): Leroy Fan, CEO of BAAHSC, will provide an overview of our mission to support affordable housing access and the various services we offer to low-income families and individuals, particularly those facing language or cultural barriers.
Special Guest Speaker: Yuyu Qin (60 minutes): Yuyu Qin, an expert from a nonprofit affordable housing organization, will overview of the affordable housing application process, and discuss eligibility criteria, housing availability, and how to navigate the system.
Q&A Session (15 minutes): Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions.
This workshop is ideal for anyone looking for affordable housing options or advice, particularly those in the Chinese community who may face language or cultural challenges. Whether you're seeking housing for yourself, your family, or your elderly relatives, this session will offer practical steps and personalized guidance.
